Nestled in the heart of Aruba, Kamerlingh Villa represents not just a destination but a journey. A journey that began in 2014 when our family saw the potential in a beautiful property and made it our own. However, it wasn't until the world paused, and we all took a moment to reflect, that we decided to pivot our focus entirely towards welcoming travelers seeking leisure and exploration.
A Home Away From Home
Kamerlingh Villa has always been more than just a place to stay; it's a home. A home where every guest is treated as part of our extended family. With our doors opening wider after the pandemic, we committed to sharing this home with those who travel for leisure, adventure, and the pure joy of discovery. Our offerings cater to the diverse needs of our guests, providing a comfortable and memorable stay.
Embracing Sustainability and Local Culture
Our commitment to sustainability is deep-rooted, reflecting in every aspect of your stay. From eco-friendly practices to embracing and promoting local culture, we believe in offering an experience that's both enriching and responsible. Kamerlingh Villa is a testament to our belief in harmony with nature and the local community.
Tailored Experiences for Every Traveler
Understanding that each guest seeks a unique experience, we've curated activities and amenities that cater to a wide range of interests. Whether it's a tranquil day at the beach, exploring Aruba's rich cultural heritage, or embarking on an adventure across the island's natural landscapes, Kamerlingh Villa is your gateway to the best Aruba has to offer.
A Family's Promise
As a family-owned and operated business, the essence of Kamerlingh Villa is the personal touch we bring to every aspect of your stay. Our story is woven into the fabric of this place, and we share it with you in every smile, recommendation, and care we provide. We embarked on this journey to share the beauty of Aruba with the world, and each guest's satisfaction is a testament to our commitment.
It all started in 2014, when we took the decision to leave our home country of Venezuela. We first worked hosting Dutch doctors and nurses that came to stay and work for up to a year in the Horacio Oduber Hospital, as well as some pilots and the ocassional tourist. We had no experience in the hospitality sector, other as than guests, and the learning curve was pretty step. Step were also the amount of work and expenses needed to remodel and fit the property to what we have envisioned (a work that it is still in progress.
Full time in Aruba live José and Lita, mom and dad, and ocassionally you can find Samuel or Jorge (yours truly) visiting, and it is with me, mainly, that you will communicate with before your arrival. Our working team is comprised of Marisela, Jenny, Kelly and Alejandro, whom you will also meet during your stay (and Alejandro might become your tour guide for a day!)
Looking Ahead
As we continue to navigate the post-pandemic world, our vision for Kamerlingh Villa remains clear and focused. We strive to be more than just a place to stay but a place where memories are made, where every visit contributes to the sustainable and vibrant tapestry of Aruba. Join us at Kamerlingh Villa, where every stay is a step towards a more connected and joyful world.
